Historia

Santos Perdidos met in the summer of 2009 and proceeded to bond as friends and musicians in the Mission District of San Francisco. The group started playing together in informal settings, often bringing their instruments and voices to taquerias in the Mission. Their remarkable chemistry, singing and playing, allowing listeners, to experience their love and dedication to music of Latin America.  

The band quickly began playing more events in the community from the Mission Arts & Performance Project (MAPP) Radio Habana, Coda, El Rio, Casa Sanchez and Carnaval to venues like Birdland Jazzista Social Club, Yoshi’s and the De Young Museum.

Bil Hager - acoustic bass, electric bass

Christian Pepin - conga, percussion

Mario Silva - Trumpet and vocals

With its strong vocal harmonies and rich sound, the band's repertoire includes traditional music from Cuba, Colombia, Mexico & Spain as well as original compositions in traditional styles.
